Thank you, Jozo. I have sent your email addresses to her.

Hopefully you will hear from her soon. She seems happy to share information.

In all of my time on Ancestry.com, I have never seen a tree as complete as hers. She has notes and pictures on many pages.

Okay . . . back to digging to find the more difficult ones.

Hi Meg,

Thanks so far.
Hopefully you can help other searchers as quickly as you have helped me.

Once again, thank you very much for your assistance.

I recntly adopted the remembrance of Herman Craig, Pvt in the 86th Cav Ren Sq / 6th Armd Division on the Wall of the missing in Henri-Chappelle, Belgium.
I tried to find any living relatives of him but my lead ended.
Maybe you van help? Herman was born in October 1909 in Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas. He was the son of Claud Craig (father) and Gena Craig (mother).

Any information that might lead to any living relative is helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Jozo,

Please send me a private message with your email address. Say "at" instead of the symbol so the spam bots don't pick it up.

I went out on Ancestry.com and found a woman who had already filled out an elaborate family tree for the Craig family. She has everything on that tree, including a picture of the Tablets of the Missing on Herman's page.

I sent her a message using Ancestry's internal messaging system, explaining what we do. Her response:
Herman Craig was the beloved son of Claude and Gena Craig. It broke their hearts when word came of Herman's MIA and later his death.

I would love to have the e-maill address of the person who adopted Herman's grave. I can also share stories of Herman as well as photos.

Thanks for contacting me.

Herman was my grandmother's little brother.
The only way I have to contact her is using Ancestry's internal system. If you give me your email address, I will send it to her.

I'm still a bit stunned. I have never found anyone this quickly. But she has it all laid out there, just waiting for someone to find.
Dear Meg,

After our last contact in Sept. 2012 I have sent you my private email address. Unforntunately I never received any message from the woman you contacted via ancestry.com. I still would like to get in contact with her. Is there any possibility you can get me with touch with her?

Thanks, Jozo

Hi Meg,

Hopefully you can help me too with my research.

I adopted the grave of Michael F Matysak. He was with Easy Company, 325th Glider Inf Reg.
He died during an accident near Udenbreth/Neuhof at February 5th 1945.

Below are my open questions about him:

1. When did Michael F. Matysak join the 325th GIR, did he already join at Camp Claiborne?
2. In which campaigns did Mr. Matysak participate?
3. What were his jobs in 325th GIR?
4. Which platoon/squad did Mr. Matysak belong?
5. Was Mr. Matysak ever wounded in battle?
6. What kind of person was Mr. Matysak?
7. Are there any pictures of Mr. Matysak available?
8. Are there any other E-Company veterans, with whom I can correspond with?
9. Are there any familymembers who'd like to correspond with me?

I already have a lot of information about him, please send me a PM with your email address, so I can send you my short Biography.

Thanks for what you are doing for us!!

Danny
